Cigar Port typically collects personal information from customers online, and may also collect information over the telephone or by mail.

Sign-Up Information

When you open an account with Cigar Port, we ask you for the following in order for us to complete your order:

• Your Name
• Mailing Address
• Billing Address
• Email Address

We ask for your name and mailing address so that we may properly deliver your purchased goods to you.

We ask for your email address so that we may send you a receipt of your order after purchasing, and so that we can contact you if needed. We don’t send any spam!

Personal Information

Cigar Port may occasionally contact a customer directly to acquire more information in order to assist in delivering an order to the customer’s mailing address. This information includes but is not limited to:

• Age Verification
• Address Verification
• Order Number Verification
• Telephone Number

In the event of a registration where we receive notice that a customer submitted an inaccurate birth date (by claiming that they were 19 or older in Canada or 18 or older in the United States but weren’t), we will immediately close their account and delete their personal information.

Visiting the Cigar Port Website

Every time you visit the Cigar Port website, you are asked to enter your date of birth to confirm you are 19 years of age or older in Canada and 18 years of age or older in the United States to legally access the website’s content. Your date of birth is not used for other purposes, or kept or stored by Cigar Port after you close your browser session.

Product Purchase and Delivery

When you order products from the Cigar Port website, you are required to provide your name, address, email, telephone number and payment card information. This information is used to process transactions, to verify your identity, to deliver and return products, to issue refunds, and to protect against error or fraud.

At delivery, you may be asked to present valid government photo identification to confirm that you are of legal age.  If picking up from a delivery depot, you will also be asked to verify that you are someone who is authorized to pick up the package. When requested, identification is viewed, but not recorded. In all cases, the name and signature of the person accepting the package will be recorded as confirmation that the delivery has been received.

Product Complaints and Returns

All returns are subject to the Cigar Port return policy. If you contact us for a refund, or to register a complaint about a product you purchased from Cigar Port, the personal information from your original order will be used.

Cigar Port will need to collect details of your reason for return, for product quality assurance and customer care purposes, and to protect against fraud. Cigar Port will not share your personal information with a supplier unless you give us your express consent to do so. Your consent, if given, will allow the supplier to contact you in the event they need more information to investigate the issue. Alternatively, you may choose to contact the supplier yourself.

Public Enquiries and Customer Care

When you contact Cigar Port with a comment, question or complaint we may need to record information in order to respond to you appropriately, including details of your enquiry, your name, and your preferred method(s) of contact (such as your mailing address, phone number or email address).

We may monitor and/or record telephone discussions when you call Cigar Port, to evaluate customer service, for training purposes, and to confirm our discussions with you.

Server Log Data

Each time you browse from our websites, our server automatically collects limited amounts of standard information sent by your browser. We cannot identify you from this information.
